Oh my goodness, I am beyond happy and excited to post this sweet family on the blog this morning! We met Scott and Maegan almost 10 years ago at NC State CCM, and have been lucky enough to not only remain great friends with them after we graduated, but to become (basically) neighbors! Maegan and I taught at the same school until last June when Maegan decided she was going to become a stay at home mom with baby Owen. She is going to be the perfect mom, and Scott is the best dad (great, now I am crying again!). Our friend group lovingly named baby Dobner “Dudley” as he was growing in his mommy’s belly, and this nickname soon became very real to all of us. The best was when her Grandma called him Dudley at the baby shower! I remember when Maegan and Scott told us they were pregnant (funny story, but I will save that for another time), I remember when Maegan had just gotten back to school from her appointment with the doctor to find out that her baby was a boy, I remember when her class parents threw her a surprise baby shower at school, and I also remember the joy and hope in their eyes throughout their entire pregnancy as they waited for their little bundle of joy. I am so excited that I had the privilege of seeing Maegan and Scott grow through this experience, and was able to capture their love as a new family of 3. These 3 are so special to me, and I can’t wait to see little Owen grow up! Welcome to the crew, sweet Owen!
